Rev. Jesse Jackson
Before an interview Sunday with Fox News, an open microphone picked up Rev. Jesse Jackson saying something about Barack Obama talking down to black people and expressing a desire to remove Barack's...ahem, "nuts."
It was a private statement, and he had no idea he was being recorded. But now that everyone knows his thoughts, he's apologizing. He says he doesn't want to hurt the Obama campaign in any way. Click the pic and read the story on CNN.com.
What do you think about Jackson's statements? On one hand, they were his private thoughts that weren't meant to be shared. On the other, how do his feelings influence Obama supporters? I think what he said was absolutely ridiculous, but honestly, I don't consider Jackson someone who could sway my vote.
