Something I heard the other night stuck with me.
In a heart-breaking moment one of my favorite TV characters said, “I should have known when he said I was beautiful, he was talking about on the inside.”
Three seasons in, and I forget that “Ugly Betty” is supposed to be, well, ugly.

There are no words to express what is burning in my heart! A black president. Not in my lifetime did I think this would actually happen.
What I found most interesting was that 60% of President elects Barack Obama's votes came from whites. America wants change, true change. I must admit, when Obama announced his candidacy, I thought no way would America go for this black man as a Democrat nominee.
